Loko Sport designer, Sandra Maniago believes that women of all sizes and ages can look and feel great in comfortable and stylish clothes.

By age 13, Sandra brought her own designs to life by drawing patterns on taped together newspaper. She perfected her skills after taking pattern making courses at Fanshawe College and graduating from Ryerson's Fashion Design Program in 1990.

Sandra worked in Toronto's garment industry primarily as a pattern maker and had the wonderful experience of working as a seamstress in The National Ballet's costume department, followed by Assistant to the Designer at a small aerobics wear manufacturers.

By 1995, Sandra started Loko Designs in London Ontario when an opportunity arouse to manufacture and distribute cheerleading uniforms across Canada. Competitive dance costumes and fitness wear soon followed.

By 2005, Sandra decided to focus entirely on activewear and called the label Loko Sport. Loko Sport now includes Loko Plus and Loko Casual and is proudly Made in Canada.

Loko Sport, Loko Plus and Loko Casual feature comfortably stylish garments that can be worn for casual day and vacation wear, as well as fitness, yoga and outdoor living apparel.
